B18-C1 TDC Sensor cost / difficulty
Hey guys,
I have a 94 EJ1 w/b18c1 swap and my cel light is throwing code 8 which is...
TDC Sensor (Top Dead Center) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
Assuming the TDC sensor is bad, does anyone have any idea how much a new TDC sensor cost or whether a novice will have have difficulty installing it? I know it's suppose to be lcoated in the distributor.
In the event it's still good, what else could trigger the TDC sensor to be detected as faulty?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.

I dont think that is serviceable, you may need to replace the entire distributor. Probably easier that way anyway.
