RC 310cc injectors don't fit!!!
Has anyone ran into a problem with RC injectos not fiting properly into the intake manifold side? They fit in the fuel rail fine but not into the intake manifold. I have a skunk 2 manifold and I really don't want to bore the injector holes to allow the injectors to fit. They are 310cc saturated injectors. Are some year model injectors different sizes than others?
they fit in there fine, they just look like they dont seat all the way. im on my second set of injectors and had no problems with fitment. i think that u think they are supposed to sink down farther into the manifold which they arent. they kinda "sit up".
RC's don't fit the same way as stock injectors. Stock injectors go all the in, RC's use a tapered seat-the directions that come with the injectors should tell you this. Don't use the stock bottom seals with RC injectors, they won't seal properly.
Oh ok, I bought the injectors used from a performance shop and didn't get anything but the injectors. Looks like I'm gonna give VSV a call tomorrow and ask them why the hell didn't they give me everything I need and make me look like a dumbass on H-T!
There are no stupid questions. The people who act like they know it all, and actually don't know anything, are the ones who come off looking like dumbasses. I would never have known if I had not bought a set of RC's, and I had to read the directions twice.

dont listen to this idiot, LOL jk. i think i read my directions on my first set 4+ times. then it finally clicked in my head. on the second set i obviously knew what to expect.

Are u sure they arent just fitting differently. If they are different, make sure that the seals u have from rc are actualy different than the ones that they normally send out. it would be a waste if they sent you out new ones just cause you werent installing them correct.
