To make a long story short, my bumpers are pretty much trashed on my rex, so i decided to just get a kit. Problem is, my car is lowed. What i'm trying to avoid is one of those body kits that hang all the way to the ground. Does anyone know what would work for me?

 

Pretty much all body kits drop really low, why dont you get the jdm crx front end, it looks really good. Wings West RS body kit is what i got, Urethane so it wont crack or brake, it is bigger and drops lower than the stock bumper but hey screw it , you can call the scratches you get on it your battle scars!!!!!!!!!!!! or you could always just add a lip to your car.

 

I got the wings west kit as well and my car is lowered 2" it only drags and or scrapes when I go over poorly manufactured driveways... other than that I dont have a problem with it..
and indeed If you get a kit get urethane over fiberglass.. then you wont have to worry about it breaking or cracking.... http://www.newwayautosports.com they have the best prices by far for GENUINE wings west stuff...........beware of cheap copies

 

I ordered from newwayautosports and they are the best, they have the cheapest prices anywhere. I would definitely recomend them as well. Also hey rioninja you had told me about the adjustable shocks and skunk2 coilovers so as long as your suspension is nice and tight it wont scrape, only guys i seen scrape body kits are those who hit gigantic potholes or those with bouncy suspensions.

 

the best kits for the crx are the wing west. not too low and not too high perfect.

 

i got the urethane WW rs kit and it sits just right. not too low and not too high! but, for some reason my door caps doesnt fit right????

 

I was just a little worried, because i'm always scraping my mudflaps. I've already worn them down quite a bit I might just get a JDM front end thought... a couple of people have already recommended it, and i wouldnt have to worry about scraping at all. Havn't decided yet.

 

yeah....JDM front ends are perfect! yet they tend to hang low...but mine is perfect

That dudes in canada, shipping will take a while and the kit i bought from him was fiberglass. I doubt it very much if he got his hands on real mugen body kits. Mugen body kits are very very rare and extremely expensive, 500 bucks for a mugen body kit is like paying 50 bucks for the hope diamond. Very bad experience with this guy.
