Default my crx is being really slow lately

i mean realllly slow, im low on oil right now and need to change it, could that be why its been kinda slow? its also been really hot around here lately could that have something to do with it?

mannn how much is a tune up? im broke as hell. o well, what COULD cause my rex to run slow tho? especially in 1st and 2nd gear.

Well, you're being kinda vague. How low is the oil? A quart, or like bone dry?

As for low oil levels affecting performance, I drove my mother's '93 Camry to work last week because the Civic was getting the timing belt/water pump replaced. Her car ran like absolute ****. It was over 11K miles since it's last oil change (yeah, I forgot to check and my mom is clueless when it comes to cars). It was a quart and 1/2 low too.

Got the oil changed and a new battery (old one was toast) and the car runs smooth and silky like the day it was born
