Default Turbo help (D16A9)

Hey, I have a 92 Civic Si Sedan, with a D16A9 engine, bone stock.

I'm starting my boost proyect just now, I have a CT20 Turbo, a stock G1 Mitsubishi Eclipse Side mount Intercooler and also G1 BOV...
Until now i have to a lot of people who dont know **** to tell you the truth the only person being able to help me is in this forum so I thought i'd give it a shot...
I need help with how to make the piping, the headers, will i a boost regulator and a turbo timer (im planing to run around 5-6 psi of boost)...i think you get the point, im a real newbie to engine mods...help me out if you can...

I'd try and snag the piping off of a Mitsubishi Eclipse with the stock turbo and side-mount intercooler: that way you'll only have to modify pipes rather than bend your own. As far as a turbo timer...you won't need it running 5-6 psi.

The manifold should be purchased, not made (stay away from calling it a "header" too). Ask in the forced induction or FI classifieds sections to find one for a good price.

Dyno tune it when you're done and make sure you've got a fuel pump and regulator that are up to the task .

Thanx for the info, Exhaust mainfold from now on , i also would like to know, i have been looking at the Intercooler, and it seems I could modify the pipes to make it a front mount...
look at the pic, the other pipe, runs out and to the back, i mean cuting the pipe that goes up and setting it straight out

I live in Venezuela, so finding an aftermarker Exhaust Mainfold is very dificult, why would you not recomend having one made?

for the piping, you can order some mandrel bent piping off of jcwhitney.com then use hose connectors to connect the piping. or go to your muffler shop and have him cut some pipe for you and weld it up. might take a little time to do this. for the manifold, you could go cheap and use an hf or std manifold off of one of the older civic/crxs. and use an adapter plate. but if you want better flow and want to pay some more, go with a custom manifold. i don't know of a manifold that fits the ct20 on a honda though, i'm not sure. you might need an adapter for that also.

and a turbo timer will not help you in running boost, it just keeps your engine on after you take your key out to let the turbo properly cool. and you could probably use the stock wastegate(internal right) to control your boost, but a boost controller would be worthwhile.
