Default Dyno'd the 94 GsR today

Finally got around to getting to a dyno and seeing what type of numbers my car is pulling in.

The car:
94 GsR
168,800 Miles

Go Fast Mods:
Iceman Cold Air Intake
DC 4-2-1 header (bent)
RS*R Muffler
Helix Vortex

The runs:
Dynorun #1 = 3rd Gear (108.9 Degree's)
Dynorun #2 = 4th Gear (Dyno messed up and stopped at 6500) (108.9 Degree's)
Dynorun #3 = 3rd Gear (109.4 Degree's)

Over all I was pretty surprised what #'s my car pulled today, especially in this weather. I could say that I'm very pleased.

Not really sure if the Helix Vortex thingy helped any, but I actually think it did. Didn't have anytime to take it off during the dyno since there were about 9 other Eclipses trying to dyno their cars. Im just glad I dyno'd right under a turbo eclipse with a boost controller, DP, and fuel pump (He made 161 whp). That made my day

Tell me what you guys think.. Are these numbers bad? normal? good? I just want your opinion on my dyno runs.

PS. Vids up soon!

isn't it that thing i've seen on those infomercials late night??? It's like a lil fan that looks like a turbo that connects to your intake?

Its a little peice of metel that goes between the throttle body and the intake manifold. Its about 1" Wide and it suppose to do the samething the tornado.. Makes a really loud hissing noise, almost like a turbo spool.

When I get the Video's Uploaded you can hear it while im going through the gears.

Yea if we had enough time and the money I would have taken it off and tested the damn thing, but there were to many people that wanted to dyno.

</TD></TR></TABLE> yea i was about to recommend that...but that would be kind of costly, considering the outrageous rates for dyno'ing.

Make friends with the guy that owns the dyno shop

Damn i've spent hours dynoing my car sometimes. Hell on my friends car I think we were tuning for like 5 hours (went out to get food in between of course).

Also I notice those numbers are STD. What is the SAE horsepower rating?

Where is the torque graph? Also where is Marco Auto in Sac? What did they charge to dyno?

BTW, those throttle body spacers like the Helix Vortex and Tornado are crap. They only induce turbulence.
