Best coilovers for under $1500??
there are a few tein Re's for ek for sale in classifieds for 1300 or so.. also a TEIN FLEX system.. as well as some ZEAL's b2 for 800 .. =P so much to choose from but I've been pretty happy with my tein SS's I would say to think of what purpose this suspension will be doing most of the time and go from there no reason to buy one that is 100000 adjustable if you will only set it up once or twice a year good luck
Zeal,Tein, JIC....which is the easiest to service if something wears out? Don't really feel like waiting to send stuff to Japan and back

I've seen threads where people have had work done on their coilovers by Tein USA, with good experiences. Zeal/Endless is also fairly well established here, and I'm sure they can do work in-country.

Why use H&R springs??? He wants to upgrade from his current setup, I think H&R springs will be pretty similar to what he has with the only difference being that you cant adjust the ride height.
Go with the TEIN RA's, you wont regret it.

Think about what you're going to use these things for.
Do you actually need $1500 coilovers? Are you going to be a driving a dedicated track car? Or is this just going to be a weekend warrior?
I plan on getting suspension soon. I want Tein RAs, for the ultra stiff spring rates and semi baller factor. But the real question is, do I need something that ballsy? No, I'm not going to be tracking my car more than once or twice every three or four months, so the money I spend on those is going to be wasted based on the fact that I'm not out there so often.
Also, are you skilled enough for $1500 coilovers? Are you going to notice the difference between $800 SS or $1500 REs? Probably not (aside from the stiffness) if you're not that experienced.
