mugen valve springs
was looking thru the king performance website and only just noticed the mugen valve springs.. The ad mentions something about the need for mugen valve springs after the rpm is increased with the use of the mugen N1 ecu... or something to that effect...
mugen don't make cam shafts right? not for the type r? yes no??
so what are the valve springs for? Are they intentionally used with the standard cam, and simply able to cope with more RPM?? Does the std cam make significant power after 8300?

Mugen makes cams for only race cars.
The valve springs are an upgrade for those with 96 spec valvetrain. It is basically the upgraded valvetrain that comes standard on 97-01 USDM ITRs and 98+ spec JDM ITR's.
Stock cams can make power past 8300 but it really depends on tuning and what other mods you have.
