Default mugen setup/ecu

i know mugen products offer reasonable gains when tested individually, as most ppl try bits and pieces of different products. Has anyone got a full mugen setup in respects to engine/exhaust/ecu? I'd be interested in the outcome, as i intend to go down this path sometime.

Is the ecu any different to aftermarket ecu's? Is it "custom" to mugen mods?

He had stock cams as well, but was running JDM ITR pistons and some other goodies to help out.

yeah like race gas and timing.

on regular pump gas - it would be lower

With the mugen header, exhaust system and ECU - I was able to get 188 whp 129 tq.

Wow, nice numbers. Mugen products are desinged to work in harmony with each other. Your gains will increase exponentially. If they make it for my car, I plan on getting it!

Brian.

Just curious... What is 188WHP and 200WHP in terms of 1/4 mile times on a full-body USDM ITR ??

For my car, I'm thinking Mugen ECU, Mugen Exhaust, Honda JDM 4-1 header (just because I want the heat shields), and some kind of high-flow cat.

I already have a Comptech IceBox, AEM sprockets (untuned), AEM underdrive pulleys, MSD SCI ignition and Blaster2 coil with 8.5mm plug wires, and a Spoon 2-ply head gasket.

hey epgonzalez,
ur running the N1 on 91 octane fuel? Is the N1 designed to run with the jap 100+ ron stuff?

Im in australia and we get crap fuelt too, the best here is 98 ron... is it still worthwhile getting the N1 ecu?
Can i piggy back the N1 so i can detune it to my fuel?
