Default making obd2, obd1...?

i am getting ready to swap a 96 b18c1,gsr, into my 91 crx dx auto.... heh.. i have a 94 obd1 p72 gsr ECU, and a conversion harness to obd1 for the car. how, if possible, can i use the distributor and injectors on the motor since they are obd2? some one told me it is possible to repin the plugs? i was wondering if anyone here could help me out. specific info would be extra great.

You can reuse the 96 GSr distributor. You will need to repin the plug to match. The injectors will also work, but you will need to get injector clips so they plug in.

First though, you must convert the car to MPFI first.

You will take a small flat head screw driver, small punch...pretty much anything to move the clip out of the way in order to get the pin out of the plug.

rewire for dizzy obd0-obd1

obd1 pinout----------------------------------------------------------obd0 pinout
| B11 | ORN | CYP P | CYP -P | -> B10
| B12 | WHT | CYP M | CYP -M | -> B12
| B13 | ORN/BLU | TDC P | TDC -P | -> C3
| B14 | WHT/BLU | TDC M | TDC -M | -> C4
all are the same color on the ef at least on mine they where

obd1 pinout----------------------------------------------------------obd0 pinout
| A21 | YEL/GRN | ICM | ICM | -> B15
| B15 | BLU/GRN | CKP P | CKP -P | -> C1
| B16 | BLU/YEL | CKP M | CKP -M | -> C2
hard wire to ECM/ECU or go throught the connector on the passanger side.

connect the black/yellow wire and the blue wires to the existing ones on the obd0 harness they serve the same function. ign (blk/yel) and tach (blue)

hope this helps
its still fresh in my mind i just spent the last two days fixing someones idea of a conversion

i dunno nm... i don't have what i used to have so that is not going to help.
who made the conversion harness does it follow obd1 colors scheme from honda if not it will make things a tad bit hader.
if it follows get the helms for the 92 civic
and then from the integra
you can also find much of this info scattered around online. good luck im/pm me if you need more info i'll try to dig some sites up for you
good luck

Tell me what colors are on the distributor plug and I will make it happen for you.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by elmalouno &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">does anyone have the info on how to repin the distributor? so i need to get the injector clips off a 94-95? hell...</TD></TR></TABLE>

You CAN'T repin a 1996+ distributer. The pins are differnt from 1988-1995 pinds. So it is not a simple matter of sticking the 1988-1991 engine harness pins in a 1996+ style plug. You will need to get a 1996+ harness, cut the 1996+ distributer plug from it, and solder the plug onto your 1988-1991 harness. But this is not a difficult thing to do. First of all, you will notice that the 1996+ distribuetr has one plug with all wires rather than two (like 1988-1995 distributers). Just match up the colors (and do the same at the ECU plugs). Just keep in mind that while the 1996+ distributer has a white wire and a yellow/green wire, the 1988-1991 harness has TWO white wires. Connect the thin white wire on the 1988-1991 harness to the white wire on the 1996+ distributer plug. And connect the fat white wire on the 1988-1991 harness to the yellow/green wire on the 1996+ plug.

As for the injectors, use the 1996+ injectors as well. The 1996+ harness you bought for the distributer plug will have injector plugs. It is cheaper to just buy a whole 1996+ harness than it is to buy a 1992-1995 distributer and injectors. And you DON'T need a GSR harness to get these plugs.

ok so any 96+ integra harness will work for both the injectors and distributor plug? and i already have a conversion harness obd0 to 0bd1 so i need to mod the wires on the harness or the ones going into the harness?
