does any one know the differance between the jdm and the usdm mugen header is it the way they fit or is there something more ?

 

The JDM one fits a JDM catalytic converter (which is smaller/shorter) than the USDM one. The USDM one is modified to fit USDM cats

 

USDM has a 2.0" collector, JDM has a 2.5" collector.

it's a little bit less than that

 

so how much of a performance differance is there between the 2 and is it even wort the 1grand

I think thats a question you have to answer. Mugen, Toda, SMSP will all perform well. I think bang-for-the-buck best buy would be the DC JDM/ITR JDM 4-1

 

I bought the mugen header and imo it is not worth a grand.
