coilover springs ..... quick question
can i just ride on the coilover spring without the sleeves . an how will the ride quality be. the reason i ask is because i have no more sleeves but i still have all four springs
Yes, you can ride just on the coilover springs. But the ride will be very low, and it will be a bit bouncy. I had just the springs on the rear of my Rex and it was tucking. A little bit bouncy since my shocks were gone.

heh.. if you put those coil over spring in.. without the collors.. i would put money, when you put the car down on the groun, the strut tower will never touch the spring, it will bottom out the strut.. might as well not even put them in.
if you had the collors, and not the spring, you could prolly get away wiht some funky springs.. but your backwards.. call it a loss bro

if im mistaken, i belive all struts are the same travel length.. tokiko's, blistens.. all of them.. the only truts ive heard that are physicly shorter in ride... or the "true" coil over applications.. maybe the Tien, but i know the tanabe and some of the other redicuolous coil over systems.. and i mean, coil over, they're 1 peice with the strut.. its not a spring upgrade.. and they're like over 1500 bucks.
