Whats your favorite blow off valve?

 

I have the HKS SSQV and think it sounds very aggressive, I like it! Although when I go to high boost on my D16 after it is built I will ungrade to the HKS racing BOV.

 

A stock one open to atmosphere. I get annoyed riding in buddies cars that go "CCCCHIIII CHHIIIII CHHIIIII" every damn time you let your foot off the gas, I don't see how people can stay sane driving that everyday. I love just hearing the soft air swush, plus you save money!

I was insane before I had the HKS on my car, so that was never an issue for me.

 

i picked "subjective". are you buying for you or to impress everyone else?

 

i like my hks... sounds damn cool w/ big turbo + high boost.

its a preference to myself but i value other peoples opinions. i dont have the luxury of hearing all the blow off valves on the market, as u seem to, that is why i want other opinions. calm down its just a poll that will not only help me but others too.

It all what you personally like, me I heard several and think that the type s sounds the best IMO.

If you really did a search like i did, and not just for polls, you would have found this link:

Then you could listen for yourself and formulate your own opinion instead of relying on biased opinions of others to make your decision for you.

Although I don't have it, I like the Blitz. It's good quality and it's not an obnoxious squeaking sound. Just air being released, plain and simple like it should be.

Exactly! the greddy type S???? hahah is ur car sneezing?? I vote for the rare Hks super sound only found in japan, but luckly i got it...of of ebay. bov's should sound only of gusshes of air, not no bird being shot of of a cannon.
