I found a guy who's a distributor of authentic ViS carbon fiber hoods and has awesome prices; some of his prices are HALF the price of FIBERGLASS hoods I've seen in catalogs like JCWhitney sport compact and Summit sport compact. He has OEM style hoods for the performance-minded, and 2 other styles (Invader + Xtreme GT) for the show-minded. I found this guy on a small forum where he was trying to sell some hoods and there were also pictures of hoods that people bought off of him; the fitment looked exact. The more people I can get for this group buy, the lower the price each person has to pay; so convince some people to get carbon fiber hood so you can lower your price. This guy also has reasonable shipping prices... for hoods . I don't have the prices yet because he's wanting to know how many people are interested in getting a hood through him so he can figure up the prices for each hood. IMPORTANT: I would much rather have people who are interested to email me at hites_05@hotmail.com than to have them post that they are interested here, but I will check both. If you are sure that you want a ViS carbon fiber hood you must email me saying what model and year your car is, and what style hood you want.

i try to email every person whos interested in getting a hood. id rather get information from them personally instead of over a forum, plus im currently a trial user and i have to ration my posts (only 5 every 24 hrs). the distributor im going through is waiting till i give him a complete list of whos interested, what kinds of hoods they want, for what cars, and where they live. directly giving me this information will speed up the process much quicker and therefore give you a price much quicker. the reason i ask people to get some more people together is because like every group buy, the more people who buy in a group, the lower the price per hood. the shipping will probably be $150 like every other place, but it could be lower because ive seen him ship them for lower; not definite. id really like to have a list of 10 people who are interested in getting a vis cf hood, because i think i could get one hell of discount for everyone on an order of that size. if you have any further questions that havent been answered yet, please email me at hites_05@hotmail.com

 

If these hoods are for every application, this post really belongs is the "Best Buys" forum. The rules for posting in that forum are there to protect the members of this board.

Secondly, for those of you interested, you need to ask what "grade" of VIS hood you are getting - just a thought...

 

in case youre illeterate, i said in my last post that i am a trial user; ok? do you understand that? trial users cant use the best buys forum; ok? are you getting all of this? now lets read, or at least attempt to read, my very first post that explained everything: i stated that in the pictures that his customers took of their carbon fibers that they bought off of him, the hood fitted perfectly and their were absolutely no faults with it. i hope this cleared some things up and informed some people who have difficulties reading. now for those of you who are planning on or are interested in getting a vis cf hood through me, i have a list of 7 people who have stated their interest in getting a hood through me and after i get 3 more im going to email the list to the distributor for the discounted prices for everyone who wants a hood. after i get the prices ill make a new topic in this thread with the title "ViS carbon fiber hood group prices are in!"; make sure you look for that to check if the price is suitable.

There is nothing wrong with him emailing people, but to me it sounded like the deal was a little to good. And I agree, 450 is a little high for a gb price.
