was told of such creature living in the past as a 92 civic h/b or 4 dr with a non Vtec DOHC 1.6 for first 8 mos run before the B16 vtec Dohc. any one who could help me resource some info on this vehicle would be greatley appreciated. somewhere near 5000 of these units were made. no search has come complete with good info yet.......this is also a hydro transmission not CABLE it is a ZC but not stateside, it had a factory LSD stamped on the transmission AND YES thats what i want the tranny.

I think he is talking about the DOHC non-VTEC that came in some of the canadian models post 92. The one with the funny looking VC.

I know what motor you're talking about, but I have no idea what model it came in. There was an anniversary edition hatchback that also had the hydro LSD ZC motor. My motor/tranny guy recently had one of those trannys, but sold it, and I don't have any idea where it came from, sorry, but it DOES exist

 

it wouldn't have been matt would it? that had 1? i know what model and yr, just no ones seen 1 of the 5000 or so made.

Not sure of the guys name, my motor/tranny guy Jay was trying to sell it for him, most people didn't believe that it existed.
