What bore size is he using,what stroke the crank is, how long of a rod and how many run does he get out of a new motor. I'm sure alot of people want to know the answer.

Yea im sure alot of people want to know but your probably not going to get an answer simply because they're secret specs.He has a leading edge over his competitors and im sure he's not just gonna tell everyone what he has so they can all run 9's.

Bore: 85 mm
Stroke: 95 mm

 

I know his real specs but would never post them. I will say he gets about 20 passes on an engine before he rebuilds them. Erick never lets anything break but has a very active maintenance program.
BTW, if you walked up to Erick and asked him his combination, he would probably tell you. The combination is not the secret to his success. It is the 1000's of hours of preparation and testing.

I wont post or say what his set up is either, but its as simple as people think. I have always said Keep It Simple Stupid, and as you can see it works for erik. Oh wait people say he is using Nitrious and cheating.

Erik puts alot of work in what he does. Every little hp counts on that motor.

those guys are a bunch of morons, i called them up asking what bore/stroke they do to customers GSR 2.0L blocks. First off the stupid *** i talked to barely spoke english, i just hope to god he was a landscaper instead of an engine builder. I finally got to talking with someone else, who as well wasnt that great with english and as far as m concern should have been a landscaper with his freind. Both of them werent very sure of the question i asked them, this isnt rocket science. then finally i get the answer of 85mm bore and the stock 87mm stroke. (this took at least 10mins to get an answer) i asked them another question,,, on their website it says something like from 4000$. i asked what determines how much your (my) build up price. he said. "I dont know" i said,," your a bunch of Fxckxing morons!

Erick has always been very helpful with my build-ups, and he seems to know a little about what works. If I could just be a second slower than him I would be very happy
As far as what his bore and stroke is, why not just IM him (he is on this site once in awhile), or call him and ask him (310) 320-5788.

He obviously isn't that much of a moron. He has the quickest all motor import car out there. So he couldn't possibly be the morn you make him out to be. Thats what pissed me off more than anything, i called them up in hopes of talking with knowledgable people, instead i thought i accidentally called Taco Bell.

Edit: yes i was going to send my GSR block to get her punched out to a 2.0,but they couldnt answer a very simple question. If i was an engine builder, i myself would or anyone should know that answer like the back of their hand. I rebuild MX bikes and Quads all day long, i sure as hell know all the bores and strokes for all stock bikes, and all for big bore kits and what not.
As for the dood who posted underneath this one, i do contribute, i respond anyones questions that i have personal experience with or am very knowledgable on. i saw this thread and posted my personal experience with these people.
yes i could have left some personal thoughts/comments out of this thread, but i as well as some freinds thought it was funny, others didnt. You either like me or you hate me, it doesnt bother me what people say about me becuase i dont care. i hope erick sees this, becuase it will **** him off, maybe, maybe not, either way, doesnt effect me.
