ok...I just bought a new battey for my car....its been sitting for a while now...like month and a half...my battey completly died...and I charged it up...boosted it up with connectors. but my battery light still comes on!!!! its been doing that latly..and on the way home....all my lights all went dim!!! my car was having trouble driving!!! as alike my battery was about to die
what can this be???

take your car to a pep boys or autozone and have them run a diagnostic for you. It could be a bad alternator, open circuit, bad battery...
take it from me with all my experience with horrible wiring nightmares... find out exactly what it is and pay to have it fixed right!!

check the alt fuse also

 

its your alternator,...as said above any of those places can test your alternator,...and if the car is dead,..just remove the alternator and take it down there,...i am almost 100 percent certain its your alternator,...a new alternator is about 100 bucks,..and thats with the core exchange

 

well....there was lots of corrosion on ym batterys...my buddys says to clean it...u think thats the problem???

 

what kinda alternator will work with my B16A1??? the si alternator?? del so??

 

if I charge up my battery...well i make a 13 hour trip no problem????? if it is my alt that is bad
