Anyone have pics of i/c covered in panty hose?
I've heard people mentioning this instead of painting an i/c black, but does anyone have pics? I'm curious as to how it looks, and how well it's concealed.
I originally did this to mine but soon realized that it would collect dirt and debris WAY to fast. It however concealed the hell out of the IC. Sorry no pics but I would just paint it black.

my friend's turbo crx used some kinda vent... it might have been like an AC vent or something, but with the way the slats were oriented, you had to put your head on the ground to see the intercooler. they were like this

the slats were pretty big so enough air must have been passing through

screen would be great. but would it still show the polished end tanks?
i used a LIGHT (and i do mean LIGHT) coat of flat black spray paint. and ONLY on the very front of the IC (partly 'cause i'm vain and when i go to a car show, i'll flip the IC around to show the shiny side!).
i would imagine panty hose would get dirty and tear pretty easily the second a rock hit it.

Yea I think I may just paint it. That's another awesome idea with the vents! Just like bathroom door vents...I assume air flow would be pretty decent too. I just wonder how the hell it would look with the vents on it.
