Default JRSC What do you think....

I saw this up there, but the price seems a tad bit to good to be true. Getting the bracket around the alternator with pulleys seems like an easy fix, anyone see any major reason not to bid?

Sounds like a good deal, but ask for pictures of the rotors if you want to be sure...50/50 chance it works good...

I have no clue at what to look at even, I don't have very much knowledge of JRSC or anything FI for that matter. If I bought it used like this I don't think I would attempt it to install it myself.. if I took it to a reputable shop and said install it do you think they would? I've had shops decline installing stuff before because I didn't buy it from them.

I would suggest having someone help you put it in who has one or is a competent mechanic that has worked with JRSC before.

To find all the missing parts you would need, go to http://www.jacksonracing.com and click on the supercharger components link, there you will find every part in each kit.

The rotors on the SC are what's important to check... hopefully they still have most of their coating and there's no play in the shaft. Buying one used is tough if you didn't know the seller....

I would avoid that like the plague...there is nothing included in the kit. It will cost an arm and a leg to get all the misc hoses/bolts/brackets from Jackson, not to mention a total pain in the ***.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste my money on that. There's no telling what shape that thing is in and there's a LOT of parts that are missing. Go to Jackson's site and pull up the price list for a complete kit. That'll give you an idea of what's missing. Trust me... it's a lot of parts... True, they can be easily replaced, but since you haven't done an install before or know what to look for it'll be a pain in the ***. Find something else...

ok, thanks for the advice, I decided not to bid on it and figured I would be better off saving up a few more pennies and buying a brand new one, for warranty and reliability issues. With all of the pieces there and the proper instructions I think I could manage an install. But without all the pieces and instructions I would have been soo lost.
