Help! axle splines stuck to hub

Help! axle splines stuck to hub
I cannot seperate the driver side axle w/ the hub. The splines are stuck or rusted onto the hub. Any ideas?
I've tried PB blaster and hammering w/ a mallet (afraid a metal hammer will mushroom the axle end), but no luck.
