Default does your CRX hatch rattle?

is it just mine or does most poeple hatch rattle a whole lot? I mean every bump is a noisy *** time...is there anything else than the rubber seal in the hatch that I can change to help this noise out?

Open your hatch and look on the edge of it their should be 2 peices of screwed on rubber one on each side of the hatch. You can loosen that or screw it in further if you loosen it, that should stop the rattle cause it makes your hatch sit tighter against the shell of the car goodluck. Also wrap your hatch latch in hockey tape and it will close tighter.

Hey, at least you don't live on a dirt road.... (or at least I don't think you do). Man that freakin car. The struts rattle and bump and the hatch rattles. AHHH. I only go about 15 down my road. I bottom out about 4 times on average.... You should feel lucky.

Yeah you can try screwing the rubber things on each end of the hatch out to tighten everything up that helped me out for awhile next thing I am going to do is the black tape around the loop that latches it shut.

My hatch only rattles when I hit hard bumps. You can adjust it but I've been to lazy to do mine

on my crx I tried everything I unscrewed the little rubber screws and it still ratteled. So the only thing that worked was take and the U hook for the latch I unscrewed it and took out the shim under it and it solved the problem.
hope that helps

Putting electrical tape on the "U" latch worked for me. Ryan

I agree with insomniac, there is a brass shim under the "U" lock plate
just remove it, and adjust the "U" again, and no more rattles!!
PS: You'll need at least a #3 phillips head to do it. You'll strip it, if you
try it with a #2.

I thought I was the only ghetto **** who put black tape on the hatch latch... hahahahahah... works like a charm but you have to replace it now and then

You might want to check if your rear shocks are blown... noisy shocks make an errrch sound when they compress/rebound I believe I'll be replacing mine soon with some cheapo brand, just to quiet things down!
