I went to finally go get my alignment done my on 96 civic. Ive had problem with tire wear in the back passenger side. It would wear excessivly.

I took it to get allignment and they said in the back the toe was off +1.3. So thats whats causing the problem of tire wear. He said that he could only adjust it to +0.6. He couldn't align it anymore.

So my problem is that something is obvisoulsy wrong in that back. Theres no camber kits or anything. Infact, my camber on the rear was

Left: 1.5
Right: 0.4

Which is funny, because both is lowered the same hieght.

I cant figure out what is causing my toe and camber to be out of align. Any help would be great

You can probably try to move it some more buy shaving a bit more of the front of the arm (i know confusing). the trailing arm connects to the chasis in about 3 places... compensator arm (rear camber kit goes there)... LCA..... and all the way in front, there is a bolt that you loosen to adjust the toe/camber.. you can remove that bolt and shave some of that off to allow more toe adjustment... (this is all theory)

You actually have positive camber after lowering it? I've taken my car to the alignment shop and baseline all came out negative numbers.

 

maybe the trailing arm was messed up before and lowering only messed it up more.

sorry, its suppose to be negative

So it could possibly be the trail arm bent? If I did a rear GSR disc swap, that replaces it correcT?

not that I know off
there was no previous major accidents (as far as I know)
but it was owned by a ricer?!?! heh

if it helps you at all, when i went to the alignmentshop my drivers side was off and i believe he was only able to get it upto 1.4 or 1.5 or something like that. the reason he said it was off was becuz either my upper control arm or strut was bent. hope this helps
