clicking sound when turning

Default clicking sound when turning

ok.. got a question.... when ever i make left turns, semi - really sharp i get a clicking noise from the right side, in the front. im wondering what i could be.. it almost makes me feel like something is stretching or getting ready to break.. can someone help me?

sounds like an axle problem.

Mine's doing the same thing...even worse since I lowered my car even further

haha thats what i thought it as.. ive lowered my car too.. only like 1.75 - 2 inches... and yeah.. i thought it might be my cv joint.. i have a small rip in the boot.. need to lube her back up!!

CV boot

they cost $12 and can be changed yourself

you may need a new axle though if it is clicking

yeah i think i do.. but dont want to spend the money seeing that im TRYING to safe up for a swap...

But, as a general rule, if the axle is already clicking, it's too late for just a boot. You probably need a new axle by now.

cv joint for sure
oh and if its clicking that means that the joint is shot and you need to replace to whole assembly. if your getting that swap soon dont worry about it and just get the right ones for that engine setup.
