Falken Azenis Tire sizing
I'm looking into getting a set of 16x7 or 16x7.5 volk te37's. what size azenis should I get, 205/55 or 215/45. If anyone has pics with these tires in either size I would love to see them. Thanks again.
Wider the better.
215/45/16 Azenis on 16x7.5" rims rule. That's what I run on my EP3. Azenis like wide wheels.
However, if you are trying to fit this on an Integra, it will be tight.

You should just use the 215/45/16 tires on them.. they are the right size for the 16" rims... I have 205/50/16 Azenis on my TE37s... and I'm betting that the 215/45s would do better....

hm i've been tempted to try a 215 width Azenis on my 15x7 Volks once these 205's get worn out... anyone had luck with that?
would 215/45/15 or 215/50/15 be "better"?

azenis suck.
why not use bridgestone re540s?
and wider isn't better. I think using fatter tyres on type r's zaps the handling. Nowhere near as sharp or responsive.
esp. fater tyres on the stock sized rims, all that overhang, reminds me of a loosly packed kebab

Just curious fellas, I know the azenis is a awesome tire in dry conditions, but do these tires hold their own in the wet conditions, I drive about 55 mile to and from work on the highway and I want to know if they are stable at 55 to 65 mph in the rain. Thanks.
I went through a set on my old integra, and they like to hydroplane once they get below ~60-50% tread. I live in Seattle and it rains and rains and rains here, so I'll never get them for street tires again. But if you have a second set of wheels, they are very good for a low-cost track tire.

What are you basing that judgement on?

There might be one or two tires that come in that width... but none of them (based on research and talking to people who ahve used them) will handle or even grip like a good set of 195 or 205's.

They aren't great, but as long as you drive normally in the rain, you should be fine. Some people try and fly down the road at 80 in the wet and then complain that the tires suck. If it rains a lot where you live, you would probably be better off investing in some S-03's.

If you're running 16x7, you can fit 225/45 S-03's with minimal rubbing at full lock.

It is true if you increase the size of the tire you will lose the feel of your car and it won't be as responsive...I have 205/50/15(azenis) and they do not feel as good as my other tires. Also they are a crazy heavy tire@!
