Default Following Setup On The R...

I wanted to inquire, what could I expect (whp) with the following setups. I understand tuning is key; I will bring the car to get tuned by someone who is fairly experienced.

1. Toda A's
Toda Cam gears
Portflow Ti Retainers
Toda Valve Springs
REV Valves
Mugen Intake
Comptech Tig Header
2.5 ' Mandrel bent exhaust, header back
High flow cat
Hondata s200

2. Same setup as above, except Toda B's or Jun II's or Skunk2 Stage 2's.

Thanks.

you don't need Toda valve springs for A's
upgrade your exhaust valve springs to intake valve springs

retainers is really your choice, but I prefer stock retainers

stock valves =

Comptech TIG header = ???

Skip the B's, go with C's

JUN II = no comment

Stage 2's are nice

You could definitely expect 200 whp

btw with those bigger cams, you'll need to bump the compression
CTR pistons

while your at it, might as well get some rods too

the reason why I want to replace the retainers, springs and valves is if I choose B's or II's then I dont have to reinvest.

I agree with Hybrid Ctr, upgrade your exhaust valve springs to intake valve springs. If you want to drop the Toda A only.

If you're going to do the whole valve train, install the camshafts (Toda B or C's) you want so you don't have to rip everything out and re-tune. You know you want the Jun IV so get 'em.
