JDM ITR Header -- Getting welds cleaned up
Has anyone had the welds on their JDM ITR Header fixed?
Mine where the pipes are welded to the piece that bolts to the block, it looks like the pipes were welded from the inside, and it looks really bad. Like a friday at 4:15 job.
I'm wondering if it would be safe to just grind down the welds, or if I took it to a welder would it be a simple 10 minute job for them(dont want to spend too much money on my $300 header)

Perfect! Thanks!
Now I guess I just need to find a welder.

Dont know yet. I might see how well a dremil works on it, but I kinda doubt its going to do it. Might go by sears today and see what kind of things they have that will hook up to a regular drill.

I'll try it. The only dremel I have access to is battery powered, so its going to take a few days...

it took me ~5 min to remove part of the welds (did not re-weld the outside) back home.
drive to Appomattox and I will meet you to grind dat chit.
