SOHC with a DOHC nonvtec motor???
i have a 92 4 door civic and my friends dropping in a 95 ls motor today... but i dont have the ls ecu.... will it killthe performance of the motor running a dohc motor on a sohc ecu.... alot or just alil bit thanks alot
you will be fine until u get the p75 ls ecu. it just will runa little weak thats all. hell i ran a CX ecu on my type r motor for a month until i got my jun ecu in. soi think u will be fine
What kind of ECU do you have? The vtec one or nonvtec. I think you'll be ok running your nonvtec SOHC with your new engine, but the fuel and timing curve is different. So you won't get the full power of an LS. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I know with the DX ecu, on the B20b It makes 5whp more then the LS ecu does at the top because it starts to run lean. But the LS has a lot better power band and revvs further. DX ecu feels kinda slugish until the last 2,000 rpms. compaird to teh LS. You will be fine. just get an LS later

maybe that's why it blew later on
