I have a 98 DX HB and I'm about to swap in a JDM B18C-R. After that I'm doing the JDM ITR 5 lug conv with tein ss-p (its under development) or tein flex with bronze or white TE37's. Its an awesome set up. If i were u I would get the motor first. Get that out the way cause its the most difficult and it will please you alot more. Good luck

how much are u gonna spend on the GSR? and what kind of mods are u looking into? before u dive into the GSR motor, look at the b18c1 vs b18c5 post.

Coilovers and Rota Grids. You can not appreciate a swap unless you have the suspension to equal it's caliber.

of course they say motor

cuz that motor swap costs 3x as much as the teins..
and probly 2x as much as the wheels.

go with what you can afford.. but if you can afford any,
then yeh.. motor.. then teins.. then wheels

Whats your main goal for building the car? If its racing go with the motor...my choice would be the C5 or the jdm r.

The R motor gets hacked on by a some people on this board saying its to pricey but it aint. I got lucky and me and my bud ordered two from japan motors and got them for 4200 shipped each.

My bud called the guy that sold them to us to pick up some parts and they told him he got fired for selling them at that price.

Anyways...if you want the car for autoxing get the suspension and some wheels..maybe not those particular wheels but some dont cost so much.

Then save up again and eventually get the motor.

Whatever you do, do it right the first time it will save you lots of headaches and cash.
