Hahahah similar thing happened to me. I was driving and I broke a rod and it smashed a HUGE hole in the front of my engine block. When it happened it sounded like a grenade went off in my engine bay. It sucked then but I can laugh about it now.

If so is it even worth it?
If not oh well.

another possibility:
double check all of your engine mounts, and think about getting poly ones if you haven't already. the damage could have been caused by engine twist tearing out the shift linkage. Usually when people describe their diff pin giving out, it seems to happen when they're just rolling into a driveway or something, not when they're getting on it. that's what I've seen from others on here anyway.

if u need a new case..... i got soe DX cases around..... maybe u can save some internals...... is that a DX, Si, or what..... we can maybe still save some stuff off that differential.... like the final drive if it the FD its till ok....

oh BTW.,,,, u have new axles??? they seem new...... another question... that diff pin looks goldsih color.... the new one honda sell new are like that,... not like the steel ones stock ones came with.... heres a prooff of it....

Your car is cursed from the factory... why are you suprised? Sorry just had to rub it in Y49 curse and all. I think its time for a new tranny. You can always go hydro with an adapter plate.

LOL. The Y49 Curse is strong with this one.

Same thing happened to me. Turns out, I broke a spider gear, the teeth I broke off got trapped between the final drive and the tranny case, and that seized the diff which shattered the case. Oopsie!

Yeah I bought it like that it had the swap already done to it. I would have rather done the swap myself but I knew I would not be able to buy a crx and then do the swap because I worked at Tacobell at the time. But the guy that i bought it from had blown his y1 tranny so he said that he put all the y1 gears into the s1 case.
Now all i need is a new tranny. could i maybe get a usdm s1 and transfer all my gears over if they are in good condition or should i just get a new jdm s1 or y1?
Cause I dont really mind turning high revs on the highway.

This kit is being designed for the d-series, but I'm sure someone is making a similar kit for the B's
