Default Good ol' days.....

Ahh yes, remembering back on my ef. I thought you guys might help share my satisfaction of getting a project done the way you want it. Although it may take years, atleast it gets there. Here are some pics of my ef from a few years ago. It took 3 years to get it where she was. Now she is on the west coast of Cali and I am sporting an almost 2 yr long project Ek that is almost there. For those of you who want to do a project car....stick with it and do it right in the end.

Mods of the ol ef..
B18c block, B16a head, JR supercharger @13psi . Full integra brake swap with prelude master cylinder. Sold blower...went turbo...turbo too big wouldnt fit in the car....sold car.

Thanks jason!
(Jason just for this post your probably going to get a grip of IM from newer memebers about that set, especailly about that FMIC) haha LOL

yeah I was talking with Jason about how many people would love to see some pix of his old car. I convinced him to make a post so that some of the older memeber can just remember the old days of his EF. I know he wanted to do it anywhay.. right Jason..(LOL bro) thanks
This post certianly made my day. (right click save)

hell yeah if you've been on honda-tech more than 2years you would know about this beast. Jason did have one of the nices setups in his EF that I've sertainly seen. And that HUGE *** FMIC was scary yet awesome looking, haha it almost covers his entire bumper.

hey Jason post some pix of your turbo set up so that this can be a offical TECH post, that way Breaka can't lock it ..J/P breaka LOL
But we all would love to see pix of the engine bay.

Jason has been a very positive and contributing memeber to his tech site for a long time. many memeber & other people run his OBD1converison harness, which he sell at the best price around.

All i can say is that i certainly hope my EF/gsr gets up to be as nice as that. BTW that is one of the only Yellow hatch that i've seen in a LOOOONG *** time. You did a great job in it bro.

.....So tell us all what are you currently working on?

I actually never got it completed on the ef because of the clearnce issues. Although my EF with the JR@13psi, with AC, gsr full leather interior and bald street tires ran 12.7. This was accomplished on a Chipped P28 ecu, JR FMU, 320 cc injectors, and OBd1 conversion harness of mine.

That FMIC is a bit too big should've gotten a SMIC. Was that body kit fiberglass or urethane. Also what color was the car

It was a urethane kit. The color is off of a prowler yellow...if I can remember. It has been a while.

damn thats very descent for a 2300lbs car. So since you converted it to OBD1 what else did you use to use it beside the FMU?.....hondata was not an option back then so I'm guessing you when with the AFC-hack?

Haha...I guess I was lucky. The Idle pressure was set at 48psi.....then it went as high as 90psi under full boost. I drove this thing everyday.....2hrs to school....boosting all the time.

New project.....2000 cx turbo.

I didnt really like the stock tails....and didnt like the clears....so I got the clears....and painted the brake light sections red and left the turns clear.

[QOUTE]i remember that car, i think you were just getting rid of it when i first saw it, very nice. i would also like to know what setup you were trying to fit in there that didn't work?? lets see some pics of your new beast![/QOUTE]

The reason my setup wouldnt fit....turbo wouldnt clear Z10 bars, HKS 50mm wastegate wouldnt clear headlight...turbo manifold too big and made everything not clear. It was the SFP race manifold.

New pics will be out shortly. I hope to dyno it next week....so pics and vids will be up.
