sup guys? having problem with my alternator belt...i was gone this week on vacation and my bro drove my car....BIG MISTAKE!!!..i just had this feeling when i got home he was going to **** something up...so now i come home after and my alternator belt is off..i went and got a new one...now i am having troubles putting it on? how do you do this...i tried "bumping it" but thats not working...any sugestions?

 

take the top bolt out of the alternator, that will allow you to adjust it. Slide that baby on and tighten it up. Good to go........

 

ok man.i got it...now i have a bigger problem..i dont know whats wrong..i thinking fuel injectors..but here's the problem...i got my belt on and took her for a spin..thinking everything would be fine...but no....i started going and first get toped out at 10mph...10MPH? wtf? i dont know whats wrong...the top speed i could get too was 45mph? and that was downhill? my engine sounds funny when i rev it up...? any ideas or suggestions? and going up hills...there is a dramatic power loss? thanks for the helP

 

bump..i really need some help guys? this is my only car..my life...how i get to work an school..she's getting a new engine later this summer...just need to hold out a little longer...

 

Does you CEL come on? I would have a serious talk with my brother. Sounds like my dad when he "borrows" my car in my sig. He does something to it everytime.

CEL...Check Engine Light. Are you getting any codes on the ECU as well?
