HELP!!! ABS not working on '93 Accord EX
Have been fighting with a non-functioning ABS system. Code shows accumulator pump to be bad. Have replaced with used and problem remains. Will replace with another used pump. Frustration is that motor on pump is working - it simply does not pressurize system. Was told that when pump began after replacing, fluid in resevoir on modulator should immediately, visibly go down as it replaces air. Have not seen this happen. Wonder if the pump side of the accumulator is not working -but why on both units. Is this a weak link in the system? What else might be keeping the pump from pressurizing the modulator? Honda serviceman with Honda books spent 2 plus hours trying to track this down. He seems to be knowledgable and competent. Had all the right tools and analysis boxes. Came down to bad accumulator pump.
Any experience with this? Thanks in advance!

see sig below...
this does not address your exact problem but might give some insight into the whole ABS system. Kinda long but you might find some value. Skim.
