Default mpfi swap problems...

did many searches and didnt find much to help at all.

did swap completly over to mpfi. car starts and idles fine. but cant go past 4000 rpms. also throwing codes 4, 10 and 14.

4 is crankshaft position sensor. i know i hooked that up from the ecu right. i wired c1 to blue/green and c2 to blue/yellow.

10 is the intake air temperature. i dont know how to fix this.

14 is the idle air control. where is this?

any help is appreciated

did you add wires to the eacv plug? if not, you probably switch the air temp and eacv. the green plug should go to the eacv(below the throttle body, a little to the right).

for your code 4, go back to the distributor wires and make sure you connected the correct wires.

is the car hesitating at all like when you drive it, like a miss at around 3000 rpms and then it hesitates at higher rpms?

switch the two crank angle wires you think you hooked up right. switch plugs for the IACV (back of intake manifold near TB) and the IAT.

now i got rid of code 14 by pluging in the right connector. and when i hook up the ckp the car does not start but throws no codes. have tried switching the ckp blue wires but no luck.

if i unhook the ckp i get code 4 of course. but my car starts and idles at 1k but only redlines at 4k.

what should i do to fix this??
