Autometer A/F Gauge in 98 GSR

Autometer A/F Gauge in 98 GSR
Black goes to ground - got it
Red goes to 12V source - got it
Violet goes to what color wire on the ecu? I tapped into the all white wire as told by a friend. Maybe hes wrong? What color are you guys tapping into on your 98's?
