Default AMP help!!!!!

System: Rockford Fosgate 360a2 2 Channel Amplifier Bridged
Pioneer 4500 50x4 CD Deck
1 JL 10" Sub

Problem: System Hits nice and hard when the car ignition is in the on ignition position or when the car is at idle. However when you start to drive, the system does not hit. All the speakers play, but with no BASE what so ever.

Diagnostic: Wire harness to deck changed. Ground Wires checked, RCA checked, AMP switch wire check. AMP gets power when system does not hit when driving. AMP is not over heating. Allowed to cool down.

The system hit normally, then this just happened.

AUDIO specialist at BEST BUY said that the problem might be the fail safe on the amp saying that the car is supplying tooo much voltage, and as a fail safe, the amp shuts down. If so, how do we fix this? If anything else, please respond...

Get a volt meter. Have someone rev your engine to 3k or so and check voltage at the amp.
