was looking around and i found this
ITR doesnt come with sunroof, and i'm almost 99.999999999999% sure. but this one does, wonder if it's some aftermarket one or it's a GSR conversion ...
speechless... o well may be with a sunroof ITR works better on track

Seems like too much of a hassle, and wouldn't it weaken the roof or the chassis?

Still doesn't stop people from doing it.

 

In one of his posts it says it is a 99 ITR. Uhm, didnt know they came out in 99.

It's a CANADIAN car.

 

Canada did have ITR in 99, but the sunroof.........
5 bolts conversion and a CW paint job isn't that expensive these days

Those look like genuine Honda ITR stickers on the car in the right areas. What I find kinda amusing is that the car club is for Toyota Celica's he's the lone ITR. That like having a mopar banner the windshield of a

 

The car is a real ITR. I know the owner, and I have driven the car. The original buyer wanted leather and a sunroof, so those were dealer installed items

Not sure if it affects the rigidity on the track, as I do not think that he tracks &lt;really hate using a noun as a verb&gt; his car. Not all ITRs hit the track you know

 

i think any dealership can add a sunroof for you if you pay them the right amount. my friend added a sunroof on his civic lx from the dealership because he wanted a white car

 

Hey.... I know this guy,

its a long story why he's on the celica forums... but anyways, YES , its a true 1999 ITR (CDM Spec). However, it has an aftermarket Sunroof + leather wrapped ITR seats.

He purchased the car like this last year.

Sunroof was a dealer option along with a black leather interior
It was about $1000 on top of the R's sticker for the sunroof only.

 

To the owner of the sunroof R other Toronto ITR owners would like to see it, come by tonight we are having an ITR meet at Yorkdale at 7pm.

 

Hi guys, yes I'm the owner. To all the Americans, 1999 ITR's were only made for Canada.

It is a genuine ITR and the original owner had a sunroof and leathers installed. The seats are R seats just wrapped in leather.

For the Type-R meet, when do you guys meet and how often do you guys meet, because I'll try to make it, but I don't know if I can make it tonight as I get off at 7:30pm. When is your next meet??

As for why I'm on a Celica Board, its because I used to be part of http://www.torontointegras.com, and to make a long story short, there were a few people that made that club look bad and made me feel very uncomfortable, and my buddy owns a 2000 Celica GT-S, and the people on http://www.c7performance.com are awesome, and I joined up there. Its not the car that makes the club, its the enthusiast.

If that's the case, I've got a line on 2 screens out of a windstar, brand new!!
