Default Bigger PS pulley?

Instead of removing the power steering (and looping the rack) has anyone found a bigger PS pulley which would cause the PS pump to run at a lower speed? I think that would be a great alternative to those who autox, as well as run HPDE's, in order to remove some of the numbness of the stock power steering. I like having the power steering most of the time, I would just like a little less boost.
Can I buy such a thing?

Yes you can, AEM pulley, does do what you are looking for but may not be legal for the class you compete in. Or you can adjust the pressure valving in your pump to bleed or bypass PS fluid at a lower pressure before it reaches the rack.

Yup, The pulley alone takes you out of the stock classes.......

Jacob~

The AEM pulley would work in your case. Not having PS is a good thing except for parallel parking. If you take a lot of the fluid out in the rack (per DropSpeed post) and add a breather then it becomes almost like stock steering especially if you have an aftermarket steering wheel

Cool thanks guys for the info. I dont really care too much about classing, I just want the car to drive nice.

Where is a good place to find the AEM pulley...and can I buy just the 1 PS pulley or does it come in a kit with the other underdrive pulleys?

Edit: Well crap, I just found the AEM gears on nipponpower.com for $160! It included both the PS and alternator pulley as well as 2 new belts to accomodate the different size belts. That is a lot of money... does anyone have just the PS pulley/belt they want to get rid of??

Yea man I really liked your setup (a la RTR). I just dont really have the desire to remove my system completely...yet.

i think I got my pulley kit from Importhorizon.com for 135 shipped. i know it's ridiculous for 2 wheels and belts (but they are bling bling billet aluminum)

mine are even red to match

Unorthodox may sell just the PS pulley but I'm not sure

I actually have a silver AEM PS pulley and a NAPA belt that I'd be willing to let go for about what I paid for it. I got it in the hopes of doing the same thing you're thinking about, but no more Integra.

It would be a week or two before I could ship it out though(it's in Alabama, I'm in Georgia).

Email me at thedefone@yahoo.com - as it's just taking up space, and the M3 is always thirsty for more goodies.
