Advice on Drag Radials
get some BFG's. i hear they are better than Nitto 555R. Ask Austin, hes had lots of experience with 205/45-15 555R and now hes gonna be using 205/50-15 BFG
I've only had 5 learning runs on the BFG tires, and well over 200 runs on the Nitto tires...best 60" for me on the nitto tires were a 2.107, so far on the BFG I've run 4 2.2X and 1 2.1X, but I'm still playing with the tire pressures and launch RPM...I need to hit up a good test and tune section.

BFG's are the **** , when you go to a big event and BFG is there, ask to use a set , they will let you for free, 1st run on thme i went 1.9 60ft without even pushing it too hard.
ok i'm gonna get the BFG g-Force T/A's in 205/50/15. I'm just wondeirng if i should get them on steelies becuase they won't drive at all in the rain...or do they grip somewhat well in the rain???
make sure you get the gforce T/A drag radials, and not the COMP T/A radials... there is a difference so make sure you order the right ones.

i don't run them on the street so i can't say but I use Honda CRv 15" Steelies (smallest ones that'll fit over the calipers)

Although, some turbo guys on here do use the Comp T/A's due to lack of larger sizes with the g-Force.
I've driven the g-Force in mild rain before, going 75-80 mph on the highway. But I wouldn't recommend it. Hydroplaning is not fun.

they are on my list of things to get soon. very sticky, and good enough to get you to and from the track.
