Default tire pressure on falken ziex 512's?

what tire pressure do you guys run? i have falken ziex 512s in a 205-40-17 size. i'm currently running around 38psi. is the recommended tire pressure pretty much the same for every tire or do some tires like different pressures?

you should try looking on the tire to see what the max. psi is and then go from there...at my tire shop we go by a rule that any 45 series tires or less should have at least 38 psi in them, but for 17's we say at least 40 psi in them...although im not a fan of 17's and im sure almost no one on here is, you should at least run 40 psi, IMO...also, take the 17's off and put 15's or 16's on, also just my opinion

look for the badge in your door jam. it tells you the psi recommended for the car.
