I fI go with Toda B's - will I have a piston to valve clearance problem?

Is the stock CTR valve train not strong enough for these cams ?

When you mentioned valve train, I assume you mean springs and retainers ... what springs do you recomend ....
Thanks for your help

I'm running Toda C's with the toda springs, gears, belt and Skunk2 retainers on my B16B. Runs great. The block is completly stock. Makes 191@wheels.

What is your torque like? I'm getting a b16b and was debating between putting in an ITR crank or upgrading the valvetrain when I start to get bored with it.

From the Toda website "Using Spec C camshafts on engines with milled cylinder heads, thin head gaskets, or non TODA Racing high compression pistons may cause valve-to-piston clearance issues."

My head has been decked and I am using a thin head gasket ... I guess that rules out the Toda C's for me ...

Forgot to mention, I'm running a 2 layer headgasket. No problems with the intake advanced 1 and the exhaust retarded 1.

Exactly, that's how you'll find out if C's work or not.
