i just bought a pillar bar for my 92 civic, i used the search to see where i should cut the hole in my back panels, but allt he pics i found were that of gutted interiors. does n e one know the location of where i should cut if i want to keep my panels on???? like where do i cut??? a how to woudl also be appreciated

 

I just buoght the EMRacing pillar bar for my EG hatch. Sorry though, I have gutted interior as well, though remove the panel temporarily and you will see that there are two flats spots, ideal for the bracket to rest. one in front (towards front of car) and one behind. I had my bracket toward the front works fine. Hope that helps! if you really want me to, i'll send pics for ya.

BTW, which pillar bar did you get??

i dont think there is a specific brand name for those....they're just aftermarket...GUNMETAL color right....i call them J's racing wannabeee's not bad for $49bucks though

um dayam, can't beat $49 . . .I paid a LiL more for my EMRacing one, but I got "quick release" for my passengers and you don't HAHA. okay not funny. anyway, if its the one on sale on HT, why would you have to cut into the panel??? it seems like installation is pretty straight forward?
