zc swap question
I'm doing my zc swap into a 91 dx and my problem is that the injectors arn't firing. I'm using a Si ecu(pm6) with a 89 integra dizzy, could that make the injectors not fire??? I've checked my grounds and my wiring over and over again so its not that because at the very least 2 injectors should fire

Yea- make sure that your dizzy is wired color to color - and try testing the voltage going to teh injectors.

who did your wiring? did you get a harness or did you DIY? I'm assuiming that you meant teh MPFI wiring right? if so, has anyone else checked it out? does the car do anything when you try to turn it over?
I used modified my exsisting harness,a dx. the guy who did it used to be a honda mechanic so I'm confident of his work. No one else has looked at the wiring....as for trying to start it...from what I know is that it trys to start but when you take the spark plugs out, there is no fuel smell.
do you hear the fuel pump priming at all? it should make a faint clicking sound when you go to turn on the ignition, if it's not that then I am not sure where to direct you.g/l

The only trouble you might run into with the dizzy wiring are the 2 white ones, ones supposed to have a red stripe so its hard to tell. If you wire it up and still no go, switch the 2 whites.
could you have the wrong injectors? I know the 88-91 are peak hold inj. and the 92-95 are saturated inj. Not sure....you guys can back me up here but will they interchange? I know you can run 88-91 on a 92-95 setup but can you do the opposite?
Here is my plan of attack
I'm getting a friend to lend me his CRX si to test out the 3 pm6 ecu's I have, if they check out, then I'll check my dizzy wiring, if that doesn't work then I bougt an entire Si wiring harness and were gonna swap that in. I know its easier to mod my exsisting DX harness but we can rob plugs off of that harness to make the Si one work, and if it still isn't running(which I hope not) anyone wanna buy a car?

he's right dude- the wires are easy to change- I would start there. now, since you are doing the mpfi swap did you make sure that the resistor box is hooked up to the injectors correctly, etc? I'm just trying to throw idea's out there for you. do you have the civic/ZC manual?

I am gonna go over all of the wiring one more time before I resort to using the Si harness...I'm gonna use fourthgenhatch's write up since its the most detailed I've seen to date, gonna check the dizzy wires as well, I'll be doing that on wednesday. I'll let you know how it goes

the pm6 will work but a pg7 will work better (88-89 integra) you can find some around. If you're lucky enough to get a pm7(zc ecu) that would be the best one but they're rare
