Check engine light = missfire in cylinders, what else do i need to check
Check engine light came on today out of nowhere.
I went to local honda mechanics to pull the code and it read misfire in cylinders. I changed the rotor, cap, coil, spark plugs
Only thing left is the igniter, and wires.
Could get the igniter, mucho dinero and payday is friday
anything else i could check.
Car runs okay but when you floor it, it stumbles and noticably misses.
I used to do it off and on, only around 2500-3000 but now its every where.

blown headgasket or bent valves can also cause that code (knows from experience) 71, 72, 73, 74 codes. run a compression and leak down test. If you don't know how do a search. gl
everything is fixed.
It was the igniter. but i went ahead and changed everything but the distribut housing.

remove the positive cable from your battery, go into the car and hold down the brakes for 10seconds, then plug it all back in
