Well, after a nine month search I have at last found a job in Raligh, NC. I took on a position as a project manager with AT&T business solutions (Security and Networking). I am planning on going down to NC this weekend to start work on Tuesday/Wednesday. Are there any good dyno shops around the Raliegh area? Any who auto-x track in the area, that could give me some good leads on events and so-forth?

 

Just make the trip to P1 y0!

There are closer dynos than Jack's in SC (P1), but he is one of the most knowledgeable tuners in the area. Looking at 2.5 hr drive to him.

Da burgh is dead in the Job area dude, plus the whole idea of the town filing for bankrupcy isn't tool promising for an IT guy in a blue collar town. Was cool for car stuff but hell, NC has both...

Seriously, welcome to we-todd land. Chris was money with the THSCC link - they do a lot of autocrosses around here, and some track events as well. Look in RR/AutoX for the CarGuys threads as well. Might as well start working some events.

If there's anything us Triangle we-todds can do for you, give us a holler

I am proud to say that there isn't anyone that has worked on my car except me. So chances are I would never have a need for a "shop" except for supplies (which I am very loyal regarding). I will have to check out P1 though...I gotta see what all this hype is about

j00 live an hour away from VIR and complaining

 

raleigh is about an hour from VIR also.. well it was for me.

 

VIR is the **** but i am one of a very!!!!! small handful of decient imports. Being able to hang with the we todd crew would rule.
