ecu for LS/vtec
Trending Topics
if money is no issue, hondata is the way to go.
i baseline my ls/vtec with p28 with mugen/skunk2 chip. it puts 172whp.
then plug in the hondata, only tuned for 1 hour, change the maps 3 times only, it
tops out 189whp. and not just top end. it gains all acorss the band.
p28 chipped is nothing compared to hondata but then again, p28 chipped is
about half of the price.

For 200whp you will be better of with the Hondata s200 system($295).
One of the best chips for LSVTEC or CRVTEC is the Vision program. It makes excellent midrange power, and is pretty damn rich. Lot's of guys with these motors run this chip. THe J's racing chip also works pretty well. But the Vision program offers a smooth power curve, it just needs to be leaned out a little bit.

I'd still get Hondata if I were you. I'd rather don't get other parts (such as cams and gears) for now. Hondata is a must when it comes to built motors.
Stock (P73/P30) ECUs and/or Chipped P28s are not the tuned ecu for your
specific motors.
