b16 block + gsr head = ?
Will a gsr head fit on a b16 block with CTR pistons and cams without valves hitting? Stupid question, but no result in the search......and just want to make sure....
It'll work fine and your compression will wend up at about 11.5-11.8:1.
b18c1 GSR's P72 head has a squared combusion chamber, where the b16a is circular and slightly larger volume, so with the b18c1 head, the compression is slightly higher than a b16a/ITR PR3 head.

I guess my next question is how thin of a head gasket can I go with the same set up?? I mean will 2 layer mugen work alright?
Thanks for the input fellas, its appreciated.
