Well that isn't saying much considering the JUN III is basically your average Skunk2 Stage 2 cam. Can't wait to see specs.

Well...I went to the dyno today and here were the results of my setup...

B18C bottom end w/ ITR pistons
RS Camshafts, dual valve springs, titanium retainers
RC 440 Injectors
Hondata s200
2.5 mandrel magnaflow exhaust
DC 4-1 2" collector ( biggest bottleneck in my system)
AEM CAI
62mm TB

Dont have a scanner right now so I will post the graph later...but here is what it put down on a DynaPak dyno @ Church Automotive Testing ( props to Shawn for great tuning job on this motor!)

207.5 whp
132ft/lb torque

For those concerned about comparing to a dynojet...whp is about 10hp difference depending on wheels used, tire pressure, etc...

Here is the before dyno on a dynojet....the after dyno was done on a dynapak so to compare the too it would put down about 197.5 whp on a dynojet....

this are the spec for Toda Spec D

Specifications:

Valve Lift Duration
Intake Primary 11mm 250
Intake Secondary 11mm 250
Intake High (VTEC) 12.9mm 305
Exhaust Primary 11mm 250
Exhaust Secondary 11mm 250
Exhaust High (VTEC) 11.9mm 315

it would be nice to compare but the D's will need a lot more CR to get the best out of them compare on your set up ...

RS Machine sent a cam out to Autowave about two monthes ago.

They Dyno'd the skunk2 stage III, which were running in a customers car, against RS's cam. The RS Cam curve was identical until 7800 and put around 6whp more than the stage III
edit: don't know the specs of the motor used but the numbers were above 200

open 1mm to close 1mm duration and peak lift make a triangle if you will (3 points of reference), however what the cam shape looks like between the 3 points will determine how good it is. you could have several cams that have the same exact 1mm open to 1mm closed duration and peak lift but have entirely different profiles. if you check duration from 7mm to 7mm on 2 different cams with the same specs you will probably see differences. lift and duration #'s are decieving the dont really tell you much. a better way to represent the particular cam profile one is peddling would be to offer a gragh of the profile in relationship to a stock profile or competitors profile.this would be a more accurate gauge for the consumer as to what he or she is buying!</TD></TR></TABLE>Well said. I assume we are talking about RS Machine when we say RS Cams. I'm in there all the time and never have seen a cam grinder in there. Anyone can say they are a cam grinder (I've built custom cams at Ruben's Cams) but unless you work with cam profiles all the time, I don't think you are doing anyone a real service.

Yeah, more than likely they have someone else manufacuturing the cams. I would like to compare these cams (non vtec eliminator) with other cams on the market with my setup, but unfortunately I dont have the resources to perform such a test. At any rate, they are making more power than my ITR cams throughout the powerband and for the price I would reccomend them to anyone...

Thats the way it should be, everyone is always concerned with numbers, flanks don't ever get the credit that the side by side graph would.

Not being confrontational Earl but there is no way you can grind the RS profile into the stock blank and have a adequate base circle.

About the soundest advice I can give anyone now is "listen to Omniman" he knows what he is doing. Period. I am talking practical knowledge about every part of the honda motor. Thumbs up to you Omniman.

It was a very small base circle...probably too small and did affect the geometry somewhat. I agree that the only way to do it right is on new blanks
