Anyone ever put lexan in place of hatch glass on CRX? I have questions.
How much did the lexan cost you? Did you install it yourself? Did you weigh the glass and the lexan? Is having lexan instead of glass a security problem?
My hydrolic hatch lifter things gave out and Im realizing now how heavy the hatch is.

I will find all this out this weekend, gunna go get some lexan and rivet it in. And no, its not a security problem, hell it helps security! No one is gunna be breaking out the lexan window to get in.

Not a clear pic but this was my old street CRX before we turned it in to a full race car. Car was daily driven for 3 years. ya. it did leak at times and at the places where i didnt silicone it. but overall it served its purpose.
Weighs no more than 4 lbs i believe.
