A friend of mine has a acura integra... Today his brotehr took his car out and driove through a big puddle... His engine locked out... is tehre we can do?

i did a search... it said that we should take out the spark plugs and crank it... i'll try this... any other suggestions?

 

Wait so the intake sucked the water into the engine, Or you just got the engine wet?

 

hydro lock... water in engine so engine locked out... dunno what to do now... he's worried and i just wanna help a good friend out... so any help would do...

 

depends how much water got sucked in. if its alot of water, your friend is screwed.

 

Try this first... make sure the filter isn't wet, if it is.. get a dry one...

Then, change the spark plugs with new ones, and dry the wires off.

This usually works whenever my car or my friends cars suck up water... damn FL flooding.
