Hey guys don't no what's wrong with my 93 gsr. I was drving on the highway fine, when I got off the highway, I gave it a push (redline). 1st was fine then in the middle of 2nd the engine stalled alittle, then the check engine light came on. At the light the car idle at 1,500-1,800 rpm and there was some odor. The car drove fine all the way back home. I shut off the motor and start it back up, same thing check engine light and idling at 1,500 rpm. What is the problem i can figure it out. Oh yeah the motor was very hot the fan was kicking on and off alot, but it's not overheating. Thanks for any ideas. Need it asap...


B17a1 with Skunk2 IM, ITR thottle body....

 

Pull the code(s) and remember it/them.

Reset the ECU. If code is recurring, then diagnose further.

Basicly you jumper the harness under the glove compartment, turn the ignition key, and count the long/short flashes of the CEL light.
